Stress in Separation or Divorce

Updated: Mar 31

Separation or Divorce is likened to the bereavement of a loved one. If you find yourself in the situation where you are separating or divorcing your partner or spouse, it's important that you recognise the symptoms of stress so that you can manage them before they become an issue.

When under continual stress for a prolonged period of time, stress becomes chronic. This is when it can do harm to our bodies. Long term stress can also cause damage to our memory.

All of the below can be caused by stress:

Frequent Colds

Chest Pains

Tiredness

Gastrointestinal Problems

Excessive Sweating

Aches and Pains

Low Energy

Headaches

Rapid Heart Rate

If you are going through a separation or divorce, support from The Divorce Partner could help you in managing some of the emotions that can lead to stress, and it's associated effects. I am here to give coaching, practical, and emotional support throughout this life changing experience.
